Android phones may show a constant notification about a “button listener”. This notification can be turned off by following the below steps.
But what is it and why is it there?
In order for doter buttons to connect to your phone, the app requires a bluetooth connection to link the phone and button together. Your phone then checks if the button has been clicked via bluetooth using the “button listener”.
You can hide the notification by:
1) Opening your phones settings
2) Selecting “Apps” in the settings page
3) Selecting “Manage Apps”
4) Selecting the “doter” app
5) Selecting “Notifications”
6) Selecting “Foreground Service Channel”
7) Turning off the notifications

The doter button does not work without bluetooth.

The doter button itself is able to store a limited amount of data. This means that even if you don’t have a connection it will store and register a “moment” on your phone when it re-establishes a connection. But do remember the amount of items it can store is limited so for best functionality ensure stable bluetooth connection to the phone.

You require an active internet connection to access the doter app.

To guarantee the graphs are only reporting the right information at any point, they only show “completed” moments. “completed” moments will exist with a little tick on the timeline instead of a clock (which means the moment is ongoing.
